Technology has caught up with the requirements for the MicroMentary Project. As such, more schools have access to the hardware and software needed to produce MicroMentaries. Swift Instruments is relaunching its nationwide contest open to all public and private schools. Additional sponsors will be added for the 2001-2002 school year with prizes awarded for the best MicroMentary in three categories: Elementary, Middle, and High School.

Swift Instruments will also be conducting teacher workshops at various conferences during the school year including the National Science Teachers Association and National Association of Biology Teachers Conferences.

Details for the contest and workshops will be posted on this web site by August 2001. Check back to make sure that your school enters a team in the MicroMentary Contest.
